School Readiness Classes

Classes run every Monday -Friday 10am and 1pm. Bookings can be made online or by phone and students can opt in for a 90 minute lesson block 10 weeks per term, 4 terms per year

Cost is just $50 per 90 minute class at 10.00am or 1.00pm

We offer one of the best programs available for the under 6s. Many of our little learner graduates go off to school perfectly primed to be capable to enjoy learning from the moment they put their foot into the classroom.

The lesson time will consist of both carpet and table time. Carpet time is the part of the lesson that introduces new information and also to allow for games and songs to consolidate new knowledge and table time for applying the knowledge through craft and to connect with the knowledge. Focusing on fine motor skills in preparation for school. We also allow for children to share with us what they already know. We hope to develop good habits for their learning ready for when they go to school.

The 90 min class aims to bring the alphabet letter sounds to life, and also to explore literacy presented around a picture book. Including an introduction to basic number sense: to recognize numbers and to relate number symbols to the amount that they stand for. Numbers are explored through song, number games and also through picture books.
